The Problem
In 2021, Claire Apsey lost both her parents within 2 weeks of each other.
Ray and Rosemary Scovell were well known on the Isle of Wight for their involvement in athletics and musical theatre.
In memory of Ray and Rosemary Scovell, we supported Claire Apsey in branding the charity set up in her parents name.
We were tasked with designing a logo that represented the vision for the charity (supporting young Isle of Wight people in both athletics and musical theatre) along with ongoing design needs for charity events.
The Impact
The Ray and Rosemary Scovell Trust now has consistent branding that they use across all of the events.
We continue to work with them as their needs require.
The Solution
We discussed with Claire the requirements of the logo, where it was likely to be used most, and the vision of the charity.
We began conceptualising the logo with initial sketches and drawings. This led us to using the well known comedy and tragedy theatre masks, alongside an athletics track as the charity icon.
This logo was vectorised for use across digital media.
